My other passions is Buddhism architecture and it's unique arts and crafts with authentic colors and designs. The master guru or the creator for such art works really know how to use their materials and perfect colors that blended in nicely. Here are some of the architecture to share.

Wat Telok Wanjah located in the heart of Alor Setar city, about 2hours drive from Penang has this beautiful archway as i was told by natives here who claimed this is one of the best of all temples residing in the northern section of Malaysia apart from Bangkok, which is already establishly well known in Buddhism arts for centuries.

Inspired with Buddhist arts, i took a trip to Alor Setar to see it for myself. I was awe and inspired with the beauty of this temple and i would like to show you some of the master pieces created by these masters. The beautiful temple reside in the heart of Alor Setar city standing proudly with Alor Setar tower in its panoramic background. Beautiful and grand majestic architecture had also captured the interest of this person, Mr Paul as i meet him here and learned that he is from US working for some orginization in Ipoh who had driven hundreds of kilometers to come and see for himself and also took alot of shoting with his camera as the art works must have inspired him as much as it does to me.

Readers of my site blog, i present you the majestic archway of Wat Nikrodharam or known as Wat Telok Wanjah.

Above: I cannot believe my eyes when i first saw the archway and it is beautiful. The small fine workmanship is so nicely blended in with its perfect color. see below images fior details.

The structure has a solid base built and has a length of 15 feet to 23 feet in width or gate to gate, i think!

The story of the white elephant prince emboase to the wall. BIG piece of art work, but only small part of this archway architecture. Keep browsing downwards and see the close-ups images of the most authentic piece of work, truly Buddhism masterpiece.

Fine finishing with colors nicely blended in.

Stupa that stood on top or the highest peak of this archway. At certian angle it looks like is in gold. Mmm, i wonder if it is make of gold!

My whole trip there was worthy as i've had my inspiration for Buddhism arts purely satisfied.
