Buddhism
Buddhism consist of several schools though there are many new schools which existed over the past centuries and decades. However, the 3 schools that i mentioned here are the most likely were introduced to anyone who are keen or would have read it in wikipedia, at temples or any meditation camps one attending or even the publication books of Forest Monks Publications. The schools are Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana. This schools has different teachings and though they are different but their teaching of Buddhism is still followings of the original scriptures called the ' Pali Canon' as it is the most complete extant of early Buddhist scriptures. The contents of Pali Canon were recollections and careful recorded during the active period of Buddha.
For most of the recording work, it was a pure cultivation work done by the first cousin and the most senior monks of Buddha disciple and whom he has worked side by side and wanders together with Buddha to preach sermons are none other than Ananda. Venarable Ananda was Buddha right hand man of how it is known today to most of us who are in MNC organization as 'Personal Assistant" (PA). Ananda was one of the most principle disciple and fully devouted to Buddha at that time and also for his retentive memory and recollection of the suttas during Buddha's teaching. As Buddha teach and preach at most time, Ananda came in handy as he recorded all contents of what Buddha teaches then. Ananda is also known as the Guardian of the Dharma. Ananda recited the Suttapitaka at the First Buddhist Council after the death of Buddha. This was the begining of School of Theravada.

Another surprise to you all....yes a snake stupa in Ipoh...Ipoh, the old mining town has two stupa to be precise. and i have been there too. Thanks to bro John Lim for this trip and we've found this stupa after a long search in the heavy downpour. The downpour and getting wet is some what i would put it as a cleansing for all four of us before we found this amazingly snake Stupa inside the cave temple.
I have never a thought of such stupa shall existed in Ipoh town, but after seeing one and have been there myself, this stupa is fantastic and its rich history background reflecting back to 71 years when the first Lama landed in this spot in Taman Saikat, Gunung Rapat. Stupa is 41 years of history and recently been renovated to what you see now.

Below is the 2nd Stupa that stood outside. While doing the smoke puja, miracle took place. Read on...
 See the background of Stupa, see the roof tops of house.....yup, is right next to housing area. these people who lives there must be lucky to live right next to a Stupa. Stupa is situated right at the back of these houses and could see it from their kitchen. |  Bro Richard Teh and Bro John Lim...both posing at the 2nd Stupa that stood outside and amazingly, this Stupa is just beside a housing area. How i wish that i lived here, just open my back door and viola, Stupa is there and i can do my smoke puja daily! Bro Richard Teh have two slides of images with halo light. After sending the images to Reinpoche for confirmation, it is a halo light and confirmed by Reinpoche that it is a sign of blessing from Buddha Sakyamuni. See below. |
These two slides are caption by Bro Richard Teh....see the purple light just above Buddha. this is called halo light. I did not see this in any of my slides, but Bro Richard captured it as the moment he took this shots, the halo light apperead for that seconds only. See slide on right... Condition: rain when we reach there, really heavy down pour. Condition at time of caption: rain stopped and sky is clear, but no direct sunlight. Halo light appearance: Purple, rainbow patent as it run across the stupa horizontly. Confirmation by: Reinpoche Geishela , monestery in India with 10,000 Lamas under his care. The purple light is Halo Light or positive light source by naturaly appeared during the auspicious moments and this occured only in split seconds. If you captured it, you have it, if not, you miss it and wait for next moment like this to be lucky. How long, depends on your faith and correct timing ler. The light source is not Flare as the time of this caption, the sky was bright with no direct sunlight and it was just after heavy downpour. If lens on the camera contains oil stains, there will be no purple light, but blurry images on the spot where the halo light stood and if direct light at the time of this shots, the flare will be red and not purple. Flare is red and spread out with lines. Oil stains flare is different and the patent will not be rainbow, but spikes! So this is confirmed not flare as i myself was once a characterization engineer for image science making cameras, and my specialty field is flare!. You have seen the purple light or halo light on the top side of this stupa. I would share another strange thing that i have observed similary to the 'halo light'.
White Orbs - sometimes these appearances are subjects of paranormal. However, i have these experiences at Medicine Buddha Centre located at Zoo Road, Penang Island the night when i attended a prayers and session blessing session for suffering cancer patients. While i was there, i had a bad backache and aching was gone after prayers and personal blessings received from Reinpoche. Below are images of the 'ORBS' and comparison of other orbs too which may see similar to white orbs. I shall explaine along the way.....
I decided to put this up after i had capture a sceene where dust was seen like orbs. The images of me and the orbs occurance inside this holy site wasn't due to dust but i believed it is something auspicious occurance. However, after i have captured the other images where dust was seen inside image, i decided to add this into this site for sharing. Perhaps my opinion could be wrong, but i know the capability of my Nikon camera and the location where i had recorded all this moment. As a result, i decided to share this site with my conclusion and findings....

Seeing the top 4 images, you could see the white orbs appearance. These are auspicious orbs.
Seeing below orbs, those are not orbs but dust. However, the camera capability is sensitive enough to capture such objects. Below images are purely 'dust'.

The whotes orbs looks like squid eggs or sotong eggs.
These are dust and i captured this images inside an oven use for paint drying process. Location is at a powder coating supplier and while i do this, my LCD screen does not show any dust until i pressed the capture button. The digital imaging show images as what you are seeing here in this 3 slides.
Conclusion:
Orbs capture at Holy site
1. White 'orbs' captured at Medicine Buddha Center or inside a holy place is much different texture. It is more transparent and fine or sofrter shades.
2. White orbs inside holy place is spread out and not accumulated in groups or in plain it does not gather in one whole batch.
3. orbs are not just white, but sometimes they comes in various colors.
Orbs capture at dusty site
1. Appearance of orbs is in bigger numbers covering every inch of the imaging field of view
2. some orbs texture is clearly seen and some are even whiter that other cause by camera flash
